This Beautiful 39.6ft catamaran (11.9m) – ready to go; Light, fast, solid, safe, seaworthy, custom built
Fully equipped for live aboard for worldwide voyages (watermaker, photovoltaics, etc.) The boat is a
magnificent, widely traveled, light and fast ship. The original owners, a German-Austrian couple,
designed this catamaran based on a Tropic 40 hull and customized from their extensive experience and
prior knowledge with their first yacht. It is ingeniously designed for long voyages. It was well built in
the Naval Force 3 shipyard in La Rochelle, France, and sailed from Europe via Polynesia and Hawaii to
Alaska and back again. She has been a reliable bluewater cruising-yacht with proven capability,
successfully crossing all oceans (4x Atlantic, 3x Caribbean, 2xPacific, 1x Indian Ocean) and passed 3x
through the Panama Canal and rounded Cape of Good Hope, sailed to Alaska; Circumnavigated the
Excellent sailing performance in all conditions (tested 5 - 45kn wind speed); top sailing performance
within 24 hrs: 232 nm with 3rd. reef; Easy to handle (singlehanded Atlantic crossing done)
Easy to maintain and repair (all manuals on board); Outstanding condition, complete refit in 2017. And
there have been many additional pieces of equipment and repairs done since September 2019.

large, comfortable living room with separate salon bunk, dining table, corner seat (suitable as
another guest bed) and chart table in desk format. All with storages spaces under or behind them.
In the starboard hull the owner's cabin with double bed, "hanging locker", clothing compartments
other storage and shelving as well as bath and toilet.
In the port hull the large galley with gas stove, fridge, freezer, etc., a studio work station and the
cabin with berth in the forepeak.
Special foam mattresses adapt to body shape.
Easy care laminate soles throughout with teak trim and teak grating where purposeful.
Sufficient storage space, backboxes, sail-locker, anchor box and separate sit-in engine
compartments make this cat really spacious.

Draft: 1.15m; sloping Fin keels provide good sailing behavior with little leeway, also allow for beaching
and help divert fishing nets from the rudders
Displacement: 8950lbs unloaded, 13400lbs fully loaded; Weight: 4500.00 kg
Hull: The underwater section is made from fiberglass with integral low aspect ratio keel with special
osmosis-resistant isopthalic resin. Above the waterline 10 mm high density marine plywood
covered with fiberglass and epoxy. Quality antifouling by Hempel (2018 in Darwin) and another
coat in December 2019.
Topsides and Upperworks: Bridge deck, deck and roof are built from epoxy covered sandwich,
balsawood or foam: the advantage is a reasonable weight reduction and fantastic insulation. Main
beams are epoxy glued red cedar/plywood construction. Inside/outside 2component PU paint.
Foam filled crashbox front and aft. coach roof / deck structure: sandwich construction with a
core of balsa wood -> excellent climate below deck, pleasant interior temperature even in the
tropics. (we never used the 12V-ventilators that we carried along; elegant deck layout, toes
friendly stepless foredeck)
