Maldives 32 is a lightweight cruising catamaran with four berths, a French Classic by Fountaine Pajot.
She is a very comfortable cruiser with galley and saloon combined with a glorious panorama. Low draught makes her ideal for river exploration and beaching.
We will be sad to leave Maud, she has been a great friend during the last 10 years, but we are aging and have to make this difficult call to sell her. We have been to Brittany, Scillies, Ireland, South Wales and the Channel Islands and had fun with our friends. We have made many upgrades including- recently re-rigged; new engine 2023; gantry for solar panels, davits and hammock seats; steering system for easier entry; tent to enclose cockpit for when in port; upgraded all aspects of the boat. 2020 survey available. All works and more completed. Comes with Loadstar tender.

Anchors: Aluminium Spade with 30m chain and 60m rode; Fortress as rear with 10m chain and 20m rode, 7kg Fishermans to complete. Royal manual anchor winch under front anchor chain locker.
Original Winches, two in cockpit, two on mast.

Original ST60 Wind, speed, depth. still going
Upgraded 2014 with Raymarine Axiom 7 chart plotter with NASA AIS engine and separate aerial
and Raymarine Pilot kit with separate display, sensor and Ram added 2016.

We used an Ipad as backup navigation, would suggest wise to do the same.

20Hp Mercury EFI outboard 2023. 25 litre day tank, space for 3 by 20 litre petrol in front locker. Battery pump for spill free transfer between tanks when underway.
Old Torqeedo 1003 for tender and emergency (~2kts) power, charged from solar

Sails & Spars

Main replaced by Batt sails 2014, with new PVC track to raise and lazyjacks
Two jibs, same size, kept for potential downwind sailing but never both used together.
Code0 on primitive furler, cracking sail as long as you dump it abiove15kts apparent wind,
Spinnaker on slightly short snuffer, good downwind sail, somewhere between a symmetric and an asymmetric.

Masthead pulleys renewed 2023.

Horseshoe, throwbag, danbouy.
2 serviced lifevests, but we will be keeping our two.
